I’m a generalist who is currently working as Lead Previs / Layout Artist at BaseFX.
Graduated at Vancouver Film School , I’ve worked since as Previsualisation / Animation Layout Artist and Previs Fx artist in BaseFX. I’m responsible for communicate tools and technical requirement of previs department to pipeline and IT department as well as manage / assign and evaluate work before supervisor. I’m also leading R&Ds on integrating game engine such as UnrealEngine 4 and Cinebox(Cryengine3) into previs/full production pipeline, developing necessary tools and workflow to integrate into the current feature film post production pipeline.

Skills :
– Excellent in Previs / Postvis / Techvis / Layout / Staging / Editing / Camera work / Digital Cinematography in general (lens, lighting, camera rigs, framing, timing…)

– Specialized in matchmoving / compositing / lighting / rendering / rigging / FX and CFX.

– Unreal Engine blueprint / lighting / FX / material and sequencer.

– Great understanding of PBR workflow / texturing / modeling

– Able to work with the director, the VFX supervisor and producers, and to lead a team of artists

Softwares :

– Excellent knowledge of Maya / NUKE / PFTrack / Shotgun

– Good knowledge of After Effects / Premiere / Photoshop / UnrealEngine 4 / RealFlow / PhotoScan / Mentalray / Vray / Renderman

我的名字叫石翔文,你也可以称呼我为spark。 我目前在Base FX 任视效预览部主管一职。于2015年毕业于温哥华电影学院后我就一直位于Base FX 进行着电影视效预览的工作。
目前我主要负责同IT以及流程部门沟通视效预览部的工具以及技术上的需求并同时管理/协调和监督组员的工作。我同时还负责带领将游戏引擎(列如虚幻4和Cryengine)整个进入视效预览/全后期的电影流程中的研发工作。开发相应的工具及制作流程。

精通视效预览/后期预览/技术预览/Layout/走位/剪辑/摄影/以及数字镜头语言(镜头,灯光,要比,构图以及节奏等)
专精 跟踪/后期合成/灯光/渲染/绑定/特效/角色特效
